Holidays are coming #Blogmas Day 2

Hello,

Welcome to day 2 of #Blogmas if you haven’t read day one then (Click here) it’s on my personal blog as I’m alternating the days between the two.

So Blogmas is leading us up to Christmas, and well, like most people Christmas is probably one of my favourite times of the year! From about the 20th of December, it’s the lead up that frustrates me, the stores are packed with people shopping like they’ll not be able to leave their house for weeks, taking all the good stuff!! Present buying and never knowing what to actually get someone, I even wrote a Christmas Gift Guide on my old blog and I still don’t know what to get people…Where’s the logic in that!.

Ok but it’s not all Doom and Gloom! I love winter nights and Christmas films, not so much Christmas music because they overplay it and it never changes…. Just give me a name tag with
scrooge on…

It’s part of me being brought up in a religious family, we never really got excited for Christmas once I got older, it’s like all the fun was sucked out of it after the realization (Spoiler alert) that Santa was no more than a cruel joke to get me to behave…it didn’t work!

But back to the cold nights, I love an oversized jumper, actually mines so oversized I drown in it, but that’s the point it’s not a “fitted” oversized jumper it’s a man’s XXL! It’s huuugge, I never go out in it, I just get comfy in it behind closed doors instead, over my pyjamas : Curling up on the couch with a good cup of tea! Best feeling ever or hot chocolate if I can be  bothered making it!

A little something like these

Christmas Day and Boxing day make my life! I’m a big family gal, and with 4 brothers, 2 step brothers, 4 step sisters, 6 cousins two sets of parents and everything else in between it should be a big family day, unfortunately I only see the two sets of parents and 2 of my cousins around actual Christmas time, just writing that list of people down got me really excited.

We all have family we don’t see, my stepbrothers and sisters live with their mum, and it was their dad that married mine so I never really get to see them, I haven’t seen my biological brothers in a year or so, they live with their dad, and I’m all on my lonesome because I live with nan and her husband (One set of parents) So whilst Christmas is a family time, I don’t really get to see much family, but I am grateful I have them in my life and I know that some people this Christmas aren’t so lucky and spending on their own. Which the thought has now made me pretty sad

Here's the coca cola advert just to get you excited!!!

But I think this has been a long enough post! Keep an eye out HERE for tomorrows installment or I’ll be posting all the links to FB and Twitter, so you can check there too!

Till next time
Stay safe
